As a mental health counsellor based in North Wales, my practice is grounded in empathy, respect, and the commitment to help my clients navigate their mental health challenges. I specialise in five key areas: men’s mental health, the mental wellbeing of runners, burnout recovery within the catering sector and other high-stress industries, family and couples therapy, as well as the mental health of celebrities.
In men’s mental health, my focus is on dismantling societal stigmas and providing a safe space for self-exploration and growth. As a runner myself, I recognise the mental demands placed on athletes, and I offer targeted support to help them maintain optimal mental health alongside their physical fitness. For workers in high-stress industries like catering, I provide strategies to cope with, recover from, and ultimately prevent burnout, advocating for a sustainable work-life balance.
My work in family and couples therapy is centred around fostering open communication, building mutual understanding, and facilitating constructive conflict resolution. I believe in strengthening familial relationships and helping couples navigate their issues in a productive and respectful manner.
Understanding the unique pressures faced by celebrities, I offer discrete, tailored support to help them manage the complexities of public life while maintaining their mental wellbeing.
Through cognitive-behavioural therapy, mindfulness techniques, and a variety of other evidence-based practices, I tailor my approach to each client’s unique needs. My mission is to empower my clients to not only understand and overcome their challenges but to thrive. As a lifelong learner, I continually update my knowledge and skills to ensure my clients receive the best possible care.
